Anthroposophic Medicine and Therapies and the Camphill Wellbeing Trust

Some of our doctors and nurses are trained in Anthroposopihc Medicine, a holistic and salutogenic approach which takes "a whole human being" view into the assessment, diagnosis and therapeutic approach.

Anthroposophic Medicine for patients registered at Camphill Medical Practice

Non-urgent matters:

Patients registered at Camphill Medical Practice can book routine consultations for non-urgent problems with Dr Stefan Geider, Dr Claire Lindsay or Dr Simon van Lieshout.

Urgent matters:

For conditions requiring urgent assessment, your call will be triaged by a nurse or doctor in the first instance and they will usually offer conventional medical treatment unless it is one of the doctors named above. If it is felt that no urgent treatment is required, you may wish to make a routine appointment subsequently with one of the doctors listed above to explore whether Anthroposophic Medical treatments might be suitable and available for your condition.

For complex and chronic conditions, the appointment duration available within the NHS may not suffice to fully explore the issue from a holistic perspective, and a referral to the Camphill Wellbeing Trust may be offered - see below.

Patients from other practices who are interested in Anthroposophic Medicine can be referred to the medical charity, Camphill Wellbeing Trust who offer an extended and integrated approach. To find out more, visit their website: www.camphillwellbeing.org.uk
