NHS 24: Overnight / Weekends / Public Holidays
The practice is not open during the following times/days:
- Between 6.00pm and 8.00am, Monday to Friday
- On Saturdays and Sundays
- Some Public Holidays
If you require urgent medical advice during these times, please call NHS 24 on 111 or visit the NHS24 website at www.nhs24.com. Out of hours cover is the responsibility of NHS Grampian.
In a life threatening emergency you should dial 999 and ask for an ambulance.
What to expect when you call NHS 24:
A nurse in the emergency call centre will answer your call. They will either:
- give you advice over the phone
- arrange for you to speak to a doctor
- invite you to attend the centre to be seen by the doctor
- arrange a home visit if you are too ill to visit the centre
Please remember if you or another person is in a life threatening situation, call the emergency services on 999.
