Video Consultations

We are offering video consultations as an alternative to face-to-face consulting or telephone calls. This is particularly useful where a degree of visual assessment is necessary but measurements and blood tests are not required (such as joint problems, mental health problems, asthma reviews). This may be a convenient alternative to face-to-face attendance at the practice.

If you have been asked to connect with us via a video call, please can you

  1. Use a smartphone, tablet or PC which is connected to the internet and has a camera, microphone and speaker or headphones.
  2. 30 minutes before your appointment, take a look at the help guide and information on this website https://nhs.attendanywhere.com/callers
  3. Click the Test Call button on that website to check your equipment. It looks like this:  
  4. Five  minutes before your appointment time please click on the following link:  to enter our virtual waiting room and fill in your details.
  5. If the link fails to open in the correct browser on your device (Google Chrome or in Safari), you will need to open Google Chrome or Safari and navigate to this address: https://nhsattend.vc/nhsg/CamphillMP. 
  6. Fill in your details, read the notices and wait in the virtual waiting room until the GP or nurse connects the call to speak to you. 
  7. If there is a significant delay, we will try to update you via the messaging system, so watch your screen for updates. 
  8. If your device cannot connect or nobody joins your call to speak to you within 20 minutes of your appointment time, please call reception by phone on 0345 375 2020.
